The CAA Inc. is embarking on an offer to interested parties to sponsor or enter into a partnership with the CAA and certain CAA activities.

We are apolitical and do not accept funding of a Political nature.

To explore the opportunities for Businesses, Government and Philanthropic entities, we invite expressions of interest as general or specific as required to be submitted to the CEO of the CAA at ceo@caainc.org.au for consideration.

This invitation expires at the close of business on Tuesday 31st of July 2021.

The offer is also open to any current and former sponsors.

Team sponsorship

The operations of the CAA are divided into Teams where each Team concentrates on a specific aspect of the CAA’s function.

Currently, Teams are focused on;

Youth, Mental Health (PTSD), Drugs, Legislature and Road Safety, Domestic Violence.

Approved sponsors can use material approved by the CAA in their marketing to promote Corporate Community engagement.

An approved sponsor will appear on the CAA website accompanied by a Sponsors message for referral purposes.

IT would be unlikely that the CAA would approve endorsements of products or services specifically; however, approved corporate advertising may be approved.

A CAA Team leader will be in regular contact with sponsors so that the Sponsor and the CAA can maximise their relationship.

To Sponsor, a Team, expressions of interest up to $5,000 P/A would be considered.

Specific Category

To enter into a partnership on a specific CAA Project, each project will be negotiated independently with interested parties.

A successful candidate will have a greater licence to promote their business associated with the specific project, and their corporate image would be included in all material.

The projects that are currently being pursued by the CAA are

1. Lose your Licence Lose your life.

Create a system where young drivers receive a formal caution for minor traffic breaches instead of losing their Licence and entering the cycle that leads to loss of employment and anti-social behaviour.

2. The ‘G’ Tag

A system that can track any vehicle in Victoria and, where necessary, shut that vehicle down to avoid many deaths resulting from crime involving motor cars.

3. Operation Zoom X

A training experience for young people about to obtain their Learners permits to heighten the risks to them from drug and alcohol abuse as drivers. The project delivered in Melbourne Night Clubs during the day as a school excursion designed to be an unforgettable experience reinforcing retention of the safety message.

4. Recall

To change the constitution of Victoria to allow for, under appropriate circumstances, the Government or individual Members of the Parliament extending down to Local Government where the voters have the opportunity to call them to account and not have to wait for the completion of the electoral cycle.

5. Drug Quarantine

In a society where Quarantine is now accepted as essential to stop the spread of contagions, the CAA proposes that a similar Quarantine system be developed for people affected by Drugs—providing the opportunity for their physical and mental health to be assessed and, where possible, treated and the access to mechanisms to withdraw from the physical and psychological dependence on the drug culture. A program that is effectively straight from the street to medical intervention.

6. The Broken Legal System

This project is ongoing and addresses some of the anomalies in our legal system, particularly targeting areas where the system operates as a Legal system, not a justice system for all, including Victims.

Project Naming rights will be considered.

For the CAA to enter into an agreement with any entity, we will carefully evaluate the Sponsor as to the appropriateness of the association with CAA.

We see these relationships as team orientated, and the value of the partnership will not only be assessed on the Dollar value, but the weight the Sponsor might bring to the project.

The duration of the arrangements for special projects expires when the project is completed.

A successful partnership completed could assist the Sponsor in being offered additional opportunities. Any issue of particular interest to a sponsor and within the considered remit of the CAA would be seriously considered by the

Who is eligible to be a member?

Any person who supports the purposes of the Association is eligible for Membership.

Application for Membership

(1) To apply to become a member of the Association, a person must submit a written application to the Secretary of the Board stating that the person—

(a) wishes to become a member of the Association; and

(b) supports the purposes of the Association; and

(c) agrees to comply with these Rules.

(2) The application—

(a) must be signed by the applicant; and

(b) maybe accompanied by the joining fee.

Note:

The joining fee is the fee (if any) determined by the Association under rule 12(3).

Consideration of application

(1) As soon as practicable after an application for Membership is received, the Executive Board Directors must decide by resolution whether to accept or reject the application.

(2) The Secretary must notify the applicant in writing of its decision as soon as practicable after the decision is made.

(3) If the Board rejects the application, it must return any money accompanying the application to the applicant.

(4) No reason need be given for the rejection of an application.
